How to Make a Fairy Wand
Good Tutorial Thursday morning from Postscripts!
To get the kids involved at our wedding celebration (we have 13, almost 14 nieces and nephews), we gave them each Star Fairy Wands and let them run down the aisle as an alternative to flower girls and ring bearers!
They absolutely loved it!
I originally bought the wands on Oriental Trading here:
http://www.orientaltrading.com/api/search?Ntt=gold+star+wand.
I thought they were a little blah so we got out the vintage lace, jingle bells, string, and hot glue gun.
String the jingle bells and tie around the lace onto the wand. Attach with hot glue and tie a bow.
See pictures below.
Continue with the other fairy wands. We wanted a variety so we organized everything first and then put them together.
Enjoy the pure joy!
This would be a great fairy party favor or even a great craft and let the kids choose their lace!
Have a great day! ~Paula
