Tinker Bell Party
Hi Friends!!!
I am finally sharing my daughter’s 7th birthday from back in October! Time flies by huh? Ashley is really into fairies. She especially loves Tinker Bell. It’s like an obsession. I am not a fan of traditional Disney character parties. I like the twist of some cleverness.
What do I do first? I get a designer to work on the invite. In this case Amanda’s Parties to Go was my girl! She is phenomenal with her designs. I loved how she took my vision and made it come to life. I had the idea of a fairy silhouette. Isn’t she the cutest?
The cake from Sugar Dreams Cakes & Things was one of my most favorite things from the party! I love the rustic cake stand I used from Postscripts. Let’s keep talking desserts, because honestly that’s what everyone is most excited about….HA!!
Beautiful cake pops from Best Cake Pops! were perfect and delicious! The cake pops stand is from Cupcake Stand online store.
Green apples dipped in chocolate from Edible Arrangements….yum!
Other sweets included Pixie Stix, lollipops, starbursts, sixlets and gum balls.
Favors for the girls included, these cute plastic butterfly containers from Beau-Coup. I filled them up with sixlets.
Grapeheads and Appleheads purple and green. Tag from Amanda’s Parties to Go.
Peeking at the goodies
Marshmallows in cute tinker bell tubs from Target.
Pixie Dust from Fancy That store.
Tinkerbell pens from Walmart, bracelets from a yard sale that were brand new packaged and some cute Tinker Bell necklaces from Fairy Bloom Tutus.
I loved setting up a round table for the girls to sit this time. It turned out cute!
I made the banner with lots of glitter!!! Sparkle was a MUST!
I made the centerpiece with things I had around the house. The wood vase was a find at a local store called Great Indoors. They actually went out of business.
Cute parties are all about the details my friends! Wrapping your bottled water, adding a cute straw and party circle to the cups will make a big difference. Petite Party Studio carries the cute straws.
The pretty tulle pom poms hanging over the table can be purchased from Titi’s Tutu’s. I got butterflies from Heart to Heart.
Activities included………Face painting, bubbles, breaking a pinata my sister brought from Mexico AND the BEST was Tinker Bell showed up with balloons for each little girl! PRICELESS!!!
This fun sign was custom made by Our Hobby to your Home. They make the most adorable signs! Check them out.
The girls were soooooo excited to get a photo with Tinker Bell……SO FUN!
Don’t you just love the backdrop behind the table? My friend Jennifer is super talented. She drew that for me. You can find her shop, Krazy Crafty Chick on etsy.
And here’s my family! Yes! I must color coordinate everyone. My husband must love me to go along with it
HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY ASHLEY! WE LOVE YOU!!
Mommy can’t wait to throw another fun party when you turn 8!
