Easter Wall Art
Easter is just around the corner. Are you all ready?
I seem to run very last minute for everything even decorating my house.
If you are a regular follower of my blog, you know I am thrifty. I love yard sales and any thrifty shops out there. This old wall art was found at Goodwill for $1. It was in rough shape. I saw through that and I loved the potential of this piece.
Here’s what came to mind. I used these supplies:
I used my washi tape and ribbon in my craft box as well. I have tons of scraps and I save EVERY little piece literally.
I sanded the piece to smooth it as much as possible.
I spray painted it light purple.
I used my awesome glue gun to get all the ribbons on there……Be sure to pull pretty tight.
Continue glueing as much as you’d like but I covered the entire piece.
I alternated washi tape and ribbon. I added ric rac, polka dots, and solid ribbons. It made it very fun!
Here’s the final egg-shaped Easter wall art or something to hang on your front door!
I think this could be used for an Easter party too!
Here’s what the back looks like:
Voila! I love it!
I hope you liked this Easter craft! Super easy right?
More Easter ideas this week….stay tuned
